Long Distance Secrets

The last time I talked to my boyfriend, his text sounded cold. I asked him if I should buy either this one thing or this other thing and he responded "You can't do both?" and then I replied "I suppose I could" and then our conversation ended there on Friday night. Now it's Saturday afternoon and he hasn't texted me back or made any contact. Should I text him first or wait for him? Honestly though, I want him to chase me. He hasn't done that. It's always been me doing the chasing.

I often feel the same way. on one hand, you want them to text you first so youre not always the one talking to them and so you feel like they really want you, but then you dont want to go hours or days without talking to them. I guess when he does this, give him time to text you back and if its a persistent thing and he doesnt ever text you first, talk to him about it and tell him how you feel

Hi! I find your blog AMAZING because I can relate to all your posts. This is the first time having LDR. We are on our way to our 2nd year and yes it's very hard specially we are dealing with the different timezone. We have our fights also but good thing he never lets me just go and he always remind me to hold on. It's really nice to see a blog like this. Keep it up! :)

He hasn't talked to me at all &now its been almost two weeks without even a hello or anything. He's not in the military, he's still in high school. My best guy friend thinks he's been playing me all along, but i dont want to believe that cause it will hurt worse. i dont know what to do anymore. i dont wanna seem extremely clingy &continue to text him everyday if he's just ignoring me &i dont want to not text him in case he will text back or something. i just hope he's not in the hospital or hurt

That’s extremely weird. I don’t even know what to tell you. It’s not even normal. He better have a good excuse to do that otherwise I’d like to kick his ass. Do you know any of his family? Can you maybe contact one of them and ask if he’s ok? I’m sorry I’m not much help. I just can’t believe it. If you don’t get a good explanation, break up with him!!

I need some advice.. Lately my boyfriend hasn't really been talking to me. it's been like this for a month. we send like 10 texts back and forth and then he stops replying for like a day or two then 10 texts again and so on and so forth. but now he hasn't talked to me for more than a week.. we used to talk all the time non-stop all day everyday. and now nothing. I don't know what to do. i tel him i miss him and how sad i am. i even tried acting like a dont care. im afraid he's found someone else

It’s hard for us to tell you exactly without more information. Did anything happen that would upset him? is he busy doing stuff? is he in the military? has he really not talked to you at all in a week or has he just talked to you less?
